Two Thieves

Cheers for the hardest theme of Girls Talk! Aren’t you wishing for January’s theme to end?? I do! LOL So for this week I understand if the participants will be FEW. It isn’t easy sharing your past online much if it isn’t worth revealing and would just bring you ‘public scrutiny and husband inquiry’ – yay I had to borrow Mareng Yami’s description for this month’s theme, thanks mare!

Anyways, for those brave hearts post your FIRST KISS story right away! I am not brave but I have to start the ball rolling…. (as if I have a choice, hahah)

A thirty-year-old man, my neighbor, who lives two blocks away from our house kissed the eight year old me on my very young cheek while I was playing ‘piko’ in front of their house. He said he’s going to wait for me to grow up and he would marry me. I learned he died when I was in high school. So it isn’t nice recalling, my first kiss was far from being romantic!

My second was worst. A cousin of a cousin, an arrogant engineer, visited my cousins’ summer after my college graduation. So we were introduced. I was nice and even entertained him at our house. And when he was about to leave he gave me a kiss on my lips!!! THE NERVE! That was the last time I ever saw him. I remember my mother was mad at him for doing that.. And i was furious!!

So my first and second kisses were both STOLEN!!

Meet me Half-way

I have to start this post by saying, Am sorry. I wasn’t able to finish blog hopping on GT entries last weekend. I finished commenting of the first half, and I have to work double time to visit the other half. For those I haven’t leave any notes yet, please bear with me.. I will really figure out how to add an extra time on my 1 hour blogging time a day to visit you all..

For those who are asking on how my husband’s say on these – actually I don’t know if he knows this January theme and I don’t like to bring this out. It might spoil the fun. Here’s the hint, if you see only MClinky on my next GT post – he learned and reprimanded me of this ‘girls talk theme’ already, hahah. Talking about our past doesn’t mean we still have feelings for our ‘firsts’ right? I hope our boys understand that we just like to reminisce and laugh at how foolish we were in the past.

Oh well anyways I will be dropping by your sites ASAP. See you!

I have been thinking of requesting a guest blogger to share her first date on this week’s theme at girls talk. That is how much I don’t want to talk about my FIRSTS, lol. But for the FUN of it and for giving it a shot I will try to share those that I can only remember. Forgive me, I have a bad memory since my two major operations in the past, sometimes I think it’s a good thing, it gives me reason when I fail to remember things, hahah.

So I think my first date happened when I was 21 yrs old. I asked a ‘male friend’ to dine with me at – make a wild guess – MC DONALDS! And since I was the one who invited him out, I paid for our full meal! LOL

Nothing romantic! Am safe! Thanks God! ;)

I have apprehensions on this month’s theme at Girls Talk. But you made it a hit! Thank you very much for all the entrants. I love reading all your entries..

I am still hesitant to join and share my past ‘firsts’ but I will have to be brave! Some of you made me realize how much of a coward I am. For the brave ladies out there who disclosed the whole name and posted their first crush’s pictures – you rock! To US who are not 'so' brave enough– I wholly understand, heheh. We have our ‘noble’ reasons for doing that right?! ;)

We had a fun talk last week and am looking forward to reading your next entries.. So are you ready to share your first date stories on Thursday?!

Erwin – That was the name of my first crush when I was in elementary. I have been dreaming to be wed to him and as early as that I made a name for our first child – ELAINE. Bwahahahah Now I feel stupid for thinking that way or is it just normal?! I had my first crush when I was 10 years old, first BF when I was – make a wild guess --- But I will not reveal it now.. I will share it on the last installment of our “FIRST” theme this January…

Now back to First Crush for this Thursday’s fun Girls Talk – E was our neighbor in Paranaque. He was kind of aloof, he doesn’t even notice me - - I was the ugliest ducking then I know that. He looks like the gwapings, with a straight hair and sweet smile, hahah. Well, he has to thank me I was his biggest fan in the neighborhood.
